French photographer Magali Ammirati shares her near-death experience from 1981: At age 5, while swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, a large wave pulled her under. She could not swim or call for help. In that moment, Magali thought she would die and felt a brief wave of fear.
Suddenly, she entered a beautiful and peaceful space where all fear vanished. Magali wondered about her surroundings and the calm atmosphere. Right away, she reviewed her short life like a quick movie, seeing all the good and important moments compressed into one second. She felt deeply content and realized she was home.
Magali then experienced pure love, a feeling she has never experienced on Earth but is available everywhere on the other side. Being a young girl, she was content to stay there forever, with no desire to return to Earth or see any other parts of Heaven. A light-energy appeared nearby, resembling a person but not human, and gave her immense love.
Magali asked to say goodbye to her parents. They appeared right in front of her. She told them she was there, that they were not with her yet, and that she hoped to join them later when the time was right. The farewell felt easy and positive, not sad.
After that, Magali stayed in complete peace, surrounded by an inner world of love. She then returned to her body. At four or five years old, she could not put the event into words. She treated it like a dream or distant memory and went on with life, trying to act like everyone else.
Years later, at around age 40, Magali felt out of place and unlike other people. Magali realized she needed to accept her childhood near-death experience. At first, she thought she must be crazy and that it could not be real. She searched online and found videos and writings from others with similar experiences. This confirmed the event was true, not a dream.
Today, Magali encourages others with near-death experiences to know they are not crazy. The memory brings a real feeling of pure energy and love inside. She has found ways to use it positively, such as channeling it into her photography and music.
Magali sees the experience as a fantastic gift from Light and the Universe, making life incredible (NDE Diary)
