In today’s news, United Nations Children’s Fund and mobile operators form taskforce to protect African children online, UK-led report warns inaction on climate change costing millions of lives, Japanese scientists create way to synthesize nanodiamonds without extreme conditions, Mexico bans use of marine mammal-people for entertainment, US non-profit open doors to knowledge through prison libraries, basket of vegan food in Germany now cheaper than one with animal- people based counterparts, and dog hero in United States saves little girl in danger.

We have a useful fitness tip for you today. Step-ups are a simple yet powerful exercise that builds leg strength, balance, and coordination. They mimic stair climbing but with less strain on your joints. To do them, stand in front of a sturdy step, bench, or platform. Step up with one foot, press through your heel, then bring the other foot up to meet it. Step back down and repeat, alternating legs each time. Start with three sets of around ten repetitions per leg and keep the reps even each side. Aim to keep your spine as upright as possible throughout the movement. Begin with a low step and increase the height as your strength improves. For safety and support, especially for older family members, perform the exercise near a wall or something stable you can hold for balance.

Laugh alert! Get ready for a good one. Today’s joke is called “Dwarf Personality.”

Mark complained to his friend:

“I loathe taking my allergy medicine. The stuff makes me groggy.”

“Why don’t you just stop the medication?”

“Well, the thing is, it does work. So, I guess I'd rather be Sleepy than Sneezy.”

!?

And now we have a heartline in Cantonese, with multiple-language subtitles, from Wing-Lam in Hong Kong
