All Enlightened Masters Teach Same Thing, for Truth Is One

Looking back on the past 30 or so years since I was initiated by Master, I’ve come to realize this: In the past, at Jetavana Monastery in India, Shakyamuni Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. His early teachings focused on the Avatamsaka Sutra, which explored the theme of “What is Enlightenment?” As time passed, He prohibited the three kinds of pure animal-people meat, and later expounded the “Universal Gate Chapter” of the Lotus Sutra.

In the modern era, in Her early lectures, Supreme Master Ching Hai also spoke about the importance of enlightenment and Quan Yin meditation. Shortly thereafter, Master adopted a stricter vegan lifestyle. Following the establishment of Supreme Master TV, She spoke about the Original Universe and provided more detailed teachings on the “Universal Gate Chapter” of the Lotus Sutra.

Although I do not know Supreme Master Ching Hai’s past lives, through this, we can see that Master’s current disciples are learning the same teachings as the disciples of Shakyamuni Buddha, Whom humanity has revered for 2,500 years. We are grateful to Master for imparting the righteous path for humanity and Cosmic Enlightenment. Master is the World-Honored One to us, Your disciples. Hwan from South Korea
