In today’s news, Singapore Red Cross sends post-monsoon relief for several Asian nations. British space science data company successfully launches first commercial space science satellite into orbit, new device from India brings advancement to Braille learning, Australian state’s new plant protein hub sets stage for next-generation vegan food research, youth hockey coach in Canada saves elderly couple from flames, independent European Union agency finds fungi-based novel food safe, and horse-people rescues in US transport 79 neglected equine-citizens to rehabilitation center.

Being vegan is a great way to protect your brain. I have another cool mental wellness tip for you. Finger exercises are a simple way to support brain health because finger movements directly stimulate neural pathways linked to coordination, memory, and focus. Regular practice helps maintain fine motor skills, encourages blood flow to the brain, and may lower the risk of cognitive decline over time. Try these four simple finger exercise routines. Make a fist with one hand while keeping the other open, then switch repeatedly. Hold up one finger on one hand and two on the other and then swap sides. Form a peace sign with one hand while the other hand’s index finger taps on the peace sign, then change hands. Lift the pinky on one hand while lifting the thumb on the other, then alternate. Aim for about 5–10 minutes a day, focusing on smooth, controlled movements. For even better results, pair these exercises with walking, balanced vegan meals, good sleep, and regular social interaction.

We all enjoy laughing, so let’s go now to our joke of the day called “Gas Station Economics.”

A couple took a long, leisurely drive out to the country and pulled over to put gas and fill up the tires at a gas station. The wife was surprised to see that her husband had to pay to fill the tires, so she asked:

“Why in the world do they charge for AIR?!”

“Inflation, I guess.”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Aulacese (Vietnamese), with multiple-language subtitles, from Đan Tâm in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
